My name is James Tonery from Galway, Ireland.
I am a lifelong equestrian with a focus on foxhunting, cross country and horse training.

My professional goals are to enhance the overall relationships between the equine athlete and riders, and I am committed to hands-on work, training both the horse and the human.

I am passionate about training horses and riders for the sport of foxhunting, cross country, jumping and trail riding.

Some of my main goals are to ensure the sport of mounted foxhunting is fun and safe while maintaining respect for tradition, that riders are always having fun, but are engaged and connected with their mounts.

Delighted to be back doing what we love, working with horses and riders. We are now based in Rhode Island and Boston, but we can travel for clinics as long as it is safe to do so.

We have marked this change of location and focus of our business, by changing our name to J.T Equestrian(formerly Cooper's Hill Equine).
