About my methods

I believe in a natural approach to training horses. Always moving forward at the pace most comfortable for the horse.
Instilling confidence in the horse to progress through each stage of training.
My goal is to always produce safe, confident, and brave horses that truly appreciate that riding is a partnership, between them and the rider.

Hunting for me has always been a spiritual experience! I revel in the moment when horse and rider is traversing the wide open countryside, the horse keen to please, taking on all obstacles with gusto only seen in the heat of cavalry battle. 
I read and ask my mount for as much as they can give and no more, often dismounting to let the horse revitalize for the coming hazards to be encountered. The love joy and unique relationship I have with my horses, and the subtleties therein are marvelous to behold. I am always keen to share my joy with others in the field.
